Rev. Keith Belt filled his regular appointment at the Burning Springs M. E. Church. He reported that his mother Jenny has been having heart related leg problems.

Gordon Gee was obliged to resign as the head mogul at Ohio State after being caught making a derogatory comment about Catholics. He had to leave the state school up at Morgantown some years back after slipping up and talking about a plan to relocate [forceably if necessary] most West Virginia citizens in a few cities so "services could be provided easier".

As a result of reports in British newspapers it is now clear that the Big Eared One & his dutiful minions keep tract of all our telephone calls, letters, internet and credit card usages. This is done to "fight terror" but just the other day dear leader said that the Arab Muslin terrorists had been whooped, well except for Benghazi, the Boston Marathon, Fort Hood, the recent shooting in California where the mother is "vacationing in the middle east", etc. The Justice Department said that saying bad things about the Prophet Mohammed is now a crime. It is unfortunate that Jesus does not have the same federal protection. One might want to reread George Orwell readings, Animal Farm & 1984.

Drilling permits for horizontal Marcellus wells continue to be issued, mainly to the north of the local area at present. One outfit was going to buy some leases from one of the "fly by night" brokers but found that the 'broker' hadn't paid the money that was promised and thus really had nothing to sell.

Adam & Anna Yates biked and picnicked on the Mount Vernon bike trail near Alexandria and did an engagement photo shoot for Adam's business.

The price of local Pennsylvania grade crude rose to $95.93 with drip [mountain high test] fetching $80.48, Marcellus & Utica light $90.61 & medium $97.43/bbl.
