MILLSTONE MAN FACING DRUG CHARGES - Roane Grand Jury Indicts Calhoun Men

Roane County authorities arrested Michael Grogg, 51, of Millstone and his girlfriend, Cheryl Price, 48, charging them with cultivation of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver.

The Sheriffs department responded to a Colt Ridge residence following a complaint that Grogg brandished a weapon, exposed himself to a neighbor and three visitors, including a 5-year-old girl.

The Roane County Sheriffs Department, following the investigation of the complaint, found 20 marijuana plants in plastic cups, and bags of marijuana in the house.

A Roane County grand jury indicated Jason Levi White, 18, of Orma for attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab, related to the alleged purchase of meth-making ingredients at Spencer's WalMart.

White and his 18-year-old girlfriend were in a car accident at Minnora, where they received burns from meth-making ingredients, those charges are being filed in Calhoun.

Jerry Glenn McKown, Jr., 26, of Chloe, was indicted by a Roane grand jury for attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. Spencer police responded to Wal-Mart related to shoplifting items used in meth-making, discovering ingredients.

McKown is also facing drug charges in Calhoun.

The Roane grand jury indicted Zachary Allen Wease, 22, of Big Springs, for grand larceny and driving on a suspended license.

Spencer police said Wease picked up a wallet left behind by a woman at the WalMart Pharmacy that contained $1,100 in cash and gift cards.
