With the break in the rainy weather quite a bit of hay was put up in the Creston area as well as elsewhere. Rain over the weekend put a temporary halt to haymaking. There are also now lots of fawns in the area. No doubt the coyotes are licking their chops as they prefer them to lambs & calves.

Christina Miller took some spectacular photographs of a Bald Eagle that was sojourning near Annamoriah. The eagles are majestic birds and it is no wonder it was picked to represent the national spirit. The bird is a reminder that all must stand up to all who would tear America down to make us a third world country.

He noted that he was looking forward to when the Marcellus & Utica wells were being drilled in the local area. A recent map produced by the U. S. It is now clear that the Benghazi mess was related to the Big Eared One's supplying of Lybian arms to the opposition in Syria but the problem is that the opposition is Al Qaeda, the same outfit that declared war on America. The terror group is based in Saudi Arabia, the same nation that funded the Big Eared One's education and made the contacts for his political career. The "Syrian rebels" have been slaughtering Christians in Syria and now Sen. McVain, the egomaniac went and met with them & said they were good boys. Apparently that is what "Mavericks" do when they "reach across the aisle".

Closer to home the "gang of 8" wants to bring in more illegal aliens from Mexico, China and God knows where else & the Christian group backing the amnesty bill was found out to be a non-existent entity, just a front for dubious folks.

The price of local Pennsylvania grade crude oil dropped to $91.87/bbl with drip fetching $77.12, Marcellus & Utica light $86.83 & medium $93.37/bbl. Since the big push on horizontal drilling of the Marcellus & Utica plays the regular drilling of vertical wells [now called legacy production] has almost come to a halt. However, there is now new interest in conventional drilling, especially in oil rich areas.
