JARVIS CHARGED WITH DESTRUCTION - Calhoun Magistrates Report

Robert Eugene Jarvis, Jr., 29, of Big Springs has been charged with destruction of property and public intoxication by Sheriff Allen Parsons. Parsons reported a complaint was received from Zelma Osborne regarding damage to her property, where Jarvis upset and broke furniture and fixtures in her house. When Jarvis returned to the residence he was arrested for intoxication. The incident happened on February 7.

David Scott Starkey, 24, of Big Bend has been charged with registration violations and no proof of insurance by Sheriff Allen Parsons on February 7.

Clarence Prinkey has been charged with criminal escape, a violation of home confinement by Trooper Doug Starcher on February 1.

Melissa Bonawitz has been charged with violating a peace bond on February 1.

Shannon Cavendar has been charged with writing ten worthless checks at Foodland and Speedy Mart.

Sgt. John Bonazzo of the West Virginia State Police arrested Vernon Chastain of Millstone on resisting arrest/obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. The incident occurred on February 13 with warrants issued the following day.

CITATIONS:

Pamela Gail Patten cited by WV Department of Highways for overweight, over width or over length on February 2. No plea, paid in full.

Denver B. Richards cited by the WV State Police for no proof of insurance on February 3, dismissed.

Jerry B. Saunders was cited by the WV Department of Highways for improper motor vehicle inspection on February 2. No plea, paid in full.

Kenneth Ray Whited was cited for speeding on February 2 by the State Police. No plea, paid in full.

Two juveniles were cited for tobacco use or possession and underage consumption.
