Charles Edward "Ed" Starcher, 85 of Millstone, West Virginia, passed away May 28th 2013 after an extended illness.
He was born June 9th 1927, the son of the late Fred and Hilda Starcher.
He was a WWII Army Veteran and an oilfield worker for 40 plus years.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Helen G. Starcher; a son, Chuck Starcher; a daughter Kathy G. Starcher; and 1 grandson John E. Starcher.
He is survived by 6 sons, Gary (Nancy) Starcher of Burning Springs WV, Charlie Starcher of Millstone, Dana Starcher of Arnoldsburg WV, Randy Starcher of Millstone, Stanley Starcher of Glenville WV, Fred (Paula) Starcher of Arnoldsburg; and one daughter, Kandy (Bryan) Summers of Millstone; 26 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday May 31st at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg from 6-8 pm. Cremation will follow per his request.
