Dorothy Marie Hall, 94 - Spencer

Dorothy Marie Hall, 94, of Spencer, West Virginia died May 28, 2013 at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer after an extended illness.

She was born February 3, 1919 in Akron, Ohio a daughter of the late George and Margaret Laughlin Scheckengost. Dorothy was a homemaker, attended the Otto Advent Christian Church and enjoyed sewing and reading.

She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Nichols of Newark, West Virginia; two sons, Kenneth Hall of Spencer, and Paul Hall of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hall; two daughters, Linda Nichols and L. Dian Harper; three sisters; and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery near Spencer. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
