Alexander James Carrie Cooper, 20, of Grantsville, WV, died August 15, 2002 at his home.

Born in Portland, Oregon, he was a son of Mrs. Elizabeth E. Myers of Grantsville and the late Alva L. Cooper.

Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth E. Cooper Myers and step-father, Robert Myers of Grantsville; sister, Laurell Alexander of Portland; two aunts, Margorie Ellsworth of Seattle, Washington and Janice Ellsworth of New York, New York; cousin, Seth Berg, of New York and his best friend, Floyd (J.R.) Keener of Grantsville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alva L. Cooper and his maternal grandparents, Dr. Albert J. and Helen Ellsworth.

Memorial services will be held Friday, August 23, 2002 at Prince Of Peace Catholic Church in Grantsville. Reverend David Glockner will officiate. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is in charge of arrangements.
