Thomas Wayne "Tommy" Dye, 50, of Maiden NC, formerly of Newton WV, died Thursday, May 16, 2013. He was born July 31, 1962 at Newton, a son of the late Robey and Marion Smith Dye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Clark; three brothers, Donald, Ronald and John Dye. Tommy was a construction worker and a member of the Newton Baptist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Patricia Clute of Hickory NC, Joyce Lloyd of Spencer WV and Wilma McGlothlin of Newton NC; two brothers, Danny Dye of Maiden NC and Randy Dye of Hickory NC. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday May 20, 2013 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Robert A. "Bob" Keen officiating.
