WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Wyoming Co. Man Stabs Mother To Death

MAN KILLS MOTHER - A 30-year-old Wyoming Co. man was charged with first degree murder Monday following the stabbing of his mother, according to Wyoming County Sheriff's Chief Deputy C.S. Parker.

Joshua Dale May stabbed and killed his 63-year-old mother, Sandra, after they apparently got into an argument.

Police said the woman left the house and went into the yard, with May following her. The accused man lived with his mother.

Law enforcement has dealt with May on previously, they said.

JUDGE REFUSES BOND - A judge refused to grant bond for Shawn Gogelsong who allegedly threatened to shoot up a Sissonville High School football game last year to get police to kill him.

Fogelsong entered a not guilty plea Tuesday in Kanawha Circuit Court to threats of terroristic acts charges.

HUNTINGTON STABBINGS - Charges are pending against two Huntington residents who police say started a fight that ended with them being stabbed.

Authorities say James Kerlavage and Betty Christian were walking down the street with a group of people with open containers of alcohol.

The accused got in a dispute with an apartment manager over the open containers, which ended in them getting stabbed by the manager.

Witnesses say that's Kerlavage and Christian started hitting Howell, an apartment complex manager and holding him to the ground.
