SATURDAY NIGHT FIRE DESTROYS TIPTON HOLLOW DWELLING

Fire completely destroyed the residence of Bill and Genvieve Davis in Tipton Hollow off Nobe Road Saturday night. The Grantsville and Arnoldsburg VFDs responded to the blaze at 10:17 p.m. A resident saw the fire in the remote hollow and called 911. It was fully engulfed at the time. The residence, according to neighbors, had not been permanently occupied. The house was a historical log dwelling.
