CALHOUN STUDENTS RECEIVE SHOOTING STAR AWARD

Students composed a letter explaining that they wanted to make Easter baskets for the residents at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Long Term Care Unit and at Aging With Grace. The letter asked local businesses to get involved and help sponsor this project. Some organizations donated items and others donated money to help buy and fill the Easter baskets. The students created the baskets and then made arrangements to personally deliver a basket to each resident at MHHS and Aging With Grace. We would like to congratulate them on a job well done and thank all sponsors for their donations. Other students that participated in STARS but were unable to attend the ceremony are, Eli Stump, Destiny Wager, William Baker, Aleah Dye, Kelsey Jett, Erica Jones, and Brandi Whited.
