FAMOUS GOSPEL SINGIN' BOWLING FAMILY RETURNS TO CALHOUN SUNDAY - Proceeds Benefit Calhoun Food Pantry

The famous Bowling Family gospel singers are coming back to Calhoun on Sunday at Calhoun Middle-High School with a performances at 6 p.m. The Bowling Family draws a full-house crowd. Tickets are $10 at the door. Again, this year all proceeds go to the Calhoun Food Pantry. This years performance is sponsored by Calhoun Banks, Minnie Hamilton Health System and Knotts United Methodist Church. The Bowling' have had 23 #1 gospel songs, three Grammy nominations, 19 Dove Award nominations, and 11 Dove Awards, including multiple son of the year honors for country, southern and traditional music. They have been regulars on the Grand Ole Opry and have appeared on the Gaither TV tributes. The Bowlings are the only artists in southern gospel to have four #1 songs on one album with Mike, Kelly and Terah collectively having sold more than 1.2 million recordings.
