A 22-year-old man, reportedly a US Army soldier stationed at Ft. Bragg, was injured when his vehicle went out of control in a sharp curve on Sand Ridge Hill about midnight Thursday.

The vehicle crashed against the hillside along US 33-119 landing on its top, the east side of Sand Ridge.

The injured man extracted himself from the vehicle and was prostate in the highway when responders arrived.
