DEATH STRIKES ILL-FATED "BUCKWILD" CAST - Shain Gandee, 21, Found Dead With Two Others, Carbon Monoxide Ruled Cause

(04/03/2013)
After a female "Buckwild" TV cast member was arrested on multiple drug charges, cast member Shain Gandee, 21, has been found dead with two others in a truck near Sissonville.

Police had been looking for Gandee and his uncle David Gandee, 48, since they had been reported missing for over 30 hours.

They had last been seen at Larry's Bar in Sissonville about 3 a.m. Sunday, police saying the two indicated they were going four-wheeling in Shain's Ford Bronco.

The third victim has been identified as a family friend, Robert Myers, 27.

The bodies were discovered in Gandee's truck by an ATV rider, reportedly bellied down in a mud hole with the exhaust submerged. A Kanawha deputy told national media that carbon monoxide was a probable cause of death, later confirmed by the state medical examiner.

Twenty-four-year-old "Buckwild" performer Salwa Amin is back in Central Regional Jail in Flatwoods, after violating the conditions of her release, following drug charges.

Amin had been charged with two counts of drug possession with intent to deliver, and had been released on $100,000 bond.

Authorities had arrested Amin and two others in Summersville after getting a tip. They discovered heroin, oxycodone and $3,000 in cash.

A recurring cast member Michael "Bluefoot" Burford was arrested Feb. 15 for aggravated DUI.
