Betty Lou Barr Blosser, 80 - Lancaster OH

Betty Lou Barr Blosser, 80, of Lancaster OH, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Regency Hospital in Columbus. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a retired School Teacher at Bloom Elementary.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James D. Blosser; her children, Pam (Nick) Palladino, Mary (Mark) McGee, Jimmy (Kimm) Blosser; five grandchildren, Noel Palladino, Alyssa Palladino, Marque (Becca) McGee, Mindy (Jake) Campbell, Miles (Krista) McGee; four great grandchildren, Naia Salas McGee, Marshall McGee, Presley Palladino and Vera Campbell; sisters, Deane Showalter (Columbus), Susan Weber (California); brothers, Ron (Judy) Barr (West Virginia), Roland (Diane) Barr (West Virginia); brother-in-law Bob Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Wiant Barr of Grantsville WV, who operated Southside Service Station & Grocery, a popular spot for students at the old Calhoun County High School, and a sister Marjorie Pierce.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Nihiser officiating.

Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
