CLAY COUPLE THREATEN OFFICIALS IN CHILD CUSTODY CASE

A Clay County couple is accused of threatening WV State Police and Child Protective Service workers. Timothy James Middleton, 37, and Brandy Nicole Middleton, 29, allegedly threatened to shoot officers and beat up Child Protective Services workers if they tried to take their children from them. Both were being held in the Central Regional Jail. Timothy Middleton's bail is $10,000, and his wife's bail is $5,000.
