Delphia "Jean" Yost, 76 of Elizabeth WV, died March 12, 2013. She was born August 12, 1936, the daughter of the late Okey and Nancy (McCune) Hall. She was a cook at Glouster Restaurant in Ohio for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening and yard work. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Lester Yost; her daughters Kathy (Larry) Daggett of Elizabeth, Patricia White of Cumberland OH and Violet Ford of Palestine WV; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; 2 children, Melisa Yost stillborn, and Lacy Yost age 47; 3 brothers, Lester Hall, Chester Hall, and Cecil Hall; 7 sisters, Genevieve Henderson, Grace Cunningham, Essie Skiera, Ivy McCumbers, Delcie Wayne, Stellie Hall, and Eloise White. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday March 16, 2013 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev. Dean Ash officiating.
