A SHINING STAR - Officer Jeff Starcher

We would like to give Jeff Starcher a Shining Star. Jeff, who is an Enforcement Officer for the Transportation Division of the WV State Public Service Commission, is a dedicated law enforcement officer. He began his law enforcement career serving the Calhoun community in December, 2007. Since that time, he has served our area as a City Patrolman, Deputy Sheriff, Chief of Police, and now an Enforcement Officer. He was one of the first officers in many years to graduate the WV State Police Academy for our community. Jeff has become very respected over the years and earned a reputation as being a dedicated, professional, polite, and proactive law enforcement officer that is willing to assist his community any way he can and make our wonderful county a safer place to live. It is our opinion that Jeff Starcher should get a Shining Star for being the devoted officer, son, husband, and father that he is. Submitted by Norma Starcher and Samantha Starcher
