TWO CHILDREN KILLED IN BRAXTON CO. I-79 CRASH - Unrestrained, Thrown From Vehicle

Two children, ages 12 and 14, were killed Friday in a SUV crash on I-79 near Frametown, Braxton County.

Police said the children were thrown from the vehicle when the auto crashed, saying neither were wearing seat belts.

The driver, another adult and two other children were taken to the hospital, but are expected to survive.

State Police said the driver lost control, slid down a hill, hit several trees and landed in a ditch.

State Police said charges are pending.

The names of the victims will be released later.
