Roy Lee Nutter, Sr., 84 - Orma

Roy Lee Nutter, Sr., 84, of Orma, WV, passed away March 6, 2013 at his home. Born at Clarksburg, Harrison County, he was a son of the late Lewis Jennings Nutter and Ruth Virginia Simpson Nutter. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, a former Alliance, Ohio city policeman and was retired from the Revenna, Ohio Arsenal. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2174. Surviving are his children, Richard L. (Laura) Nutter, Roger L. (Kimberly) Nutter, Roy Lee (Angie) Nutter, Jr., Sharon (Jim) Hull, Carol Howell and Deborah McPhearson. Roy's step-children are Mary (Paul) Perry, Thomas Michael (Patty) Graham and Patricia Kunkle. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lena L. Graham Nutter and his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Mike Graham will officiate. Interment will be in the Minnora Cemetery with military graveside rites. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
