PARKERSBURG POLICE MAKE MAJOR DRUG BUST

Evidence collected during drug bust Jesus Alfredo Alverado-Aboyte (L) Dawn Star Aboyte Parkersburg detectives made a major drug bust Tuesday and arrested a man who federal agents confirmed is an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Jesus Alfredo Alverado-Aboyte, 30, was charged with one felony count of possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, police discovered over 100 pounds of marijuana, an estimated $20,000 in cash and a handgun that was reported stolen from Bridgeport WV. He is being held on $75,000 bail. A bulletproof vest also was found in the home. Detectives located numerous other items consistent with drug distribution and are in the process of officially seizing multiple vehicles. Alverado-Aboyte's wife, Dawn Star Aboyte, 25, is being charged with felony possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.
