Patricia A. LaRocca, 70 - Cox's Mills

Patricia A. LaRocca age 70 of Buckwheat Road, Cox's Mills, West Virginia, departed this life at 12:02 a.m. Saturday March 2, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.

Born October 18, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of Margaret Gizey Guzofski West of Florida and the late Henry Guzofski.

Patricia was the manager at Family Dollar in Glenville, West Virginia for 15 years and retired on May 1, 2006. She enjoyed cooking, camping, traveling, and was a member of the Glenville First Baptist Church.

On September 19, 1980 she was united in marriage to Peter LaRocca, who survives at their Buckwheat Road home.

Along with her husband and mother, Patricia is survived by 1 brother, Dennis Guzofski of New Jersey.

She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Diana Rawa, and Joyce Donohue.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the caregivers and Hospice staff for all their acts of kindness over the past few months.

At Patricia's request her remains were cremated and memorial services will be conducted at the Glenville First Baptist Church, 217 Main Street, Glenville, WV. 26351 at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 9, 2013 with Rev. Kenny Fisher officiating.

Ellyson Mortuary Inc. is assisting the family of Patricia A. LaRocca with arrangements.
