I would like to give Verla Longfellow of Stinson a Shining Star.
Verla (who operates Stinson Grocery) is one of the nicest people in the area. She helps everybody out in any way she can.
When people are down and out she offers help to them as well as a shoulder to cry on. She donates to all the dip 'n donates, children and adult fundraisers.
People will tell you that she is a sweet, kind, caring and loving woman.
She looks forward to the area kids coming into the store every morning and people smiling is what brings a smile to her face.
I think Verla is an angel and a Shining Star.
