CALHOUN MAN ARRESTED ON SEXUAL ABUSE CHARGES - Police Say Victim 13-Year-Old Braxton Girl

(02/28/2013)
A Calhoun County man is facing sexual abuse charges against a teenage girl.

Christopher Scott Lamp, 21, whose residence is now listed as Parkersburg, is facing several felony charges, including two counts of sexual assault 3rd degree; sexual abuse 3rd degree and sexual abuse by parent or custodian.

According to a criminal complaint, Lamp is charged with the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old Braxton County girl, saying he brought the female to the Grantsville-Arnoldsburg area in November, 2012 for two days to the residence of Lamp's brothers girlfriends residence.

The complaint says an informant said Lamp bragged about the sexual encounter, after which that informant called the State Police.

The charges of sexual abuse by parent or custodian are related to the girl being placed in his care.

Lamp was charged by Trooper J. A. Newman of the Grantsville Detachment, and he is being held on $130,000 bond in Central Regional Jail.
