Jack F. Harris, 71, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday, February 24, 2013, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born May 22, 1941, at Vicars, a son of the late Earlen Lawton and Elsie Gay Rhodes Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dollie West and Faye Hammons; three brothers, June, Pete and Raymond Harris. Jack was a disabled auto body repairman at the Chevrolet garage, Spencer. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dottie J. Shaffer Harris of Spencer; children, Daniel Harris and Mystie DePue both of Spencer; one granddaughter, Holly DePue of Spencer; three sisters, Jeanette Anderson and Myrtle Taylor both of Gandeeville WV, Mary Anderson of Harmony WV. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating.
