Carl F. Sturm, 96 - formerly of Millstone

Carl F. Sturm, 96, of Rootstown Ohio, formerly of Millstone WV, passed away February 23, 2013 in Ravenna Ohio.

Born at Arnoldsburg, November 4, 1916, he was a son of the late Roy Sturm, Sr. and Florence Ferrell Sturm.

He was retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Company and had lived in Pineville for many years before moving to Millstone. He was a former member of the Rock Castle Baptist Church in Pineville and was currently a member of Albert's Chapel United Methodist Church at Sand Ridge.

He is survived by one daughter, Judy Lambert and her husband Bill of Rootstown Ohio; one brother, Chester Sturm of Ormond Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Renee (Jeff) Hunter of Kent Ohio, Billy (Sandra) Lambert of Atwater Ohio and Carl (Missy) Lambert of Uniontown Ohio; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Arleta McKee Sturm; four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2nd at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg with Rev. David Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Sturm Cemetery at Millstone. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00-noon until the time of the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Robinson Visiting Nurses and Hospice, 6847 North Chestnut Street, P O Box 1204, Ravenna, Ohio, 44266 or to Albert's Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Kandas Smith, 4341 Sycamore Road, Millstone, WV 25261.

The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Bonnie Klusty of Bonnie's Home Health Care of Ravenna for the loving care given to Mr. Sturm during his illness and passing.
