SPENCER WORKSHOP: REPAIRING YOUR CREDIT REPORT

Your credit score follows you forever. Credit scores are used by employers and insurers, as well as lenders, to gauge your level of responsibility. Rightly or wrongly, your credit score has a major impact on your financial life. Crystal Kudlak, a consumer credit counselor with Apprisen, will share how to get your credit report for no cost, how to read your credit report, disputing errors, and simple steps you can take to rebuild good credit. Kudlak will have one-on-one sessions right after the workshop. The workshop is set for Tuesday February 26 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roane County Library in Spencer. Sponsored by SCORE, Apprisen, the Roane County Chamber of Commerce and the Central Appalachian Empowerment Zone with participation from the US Small Business Administration.
