BANK ROBBERY - Charleston police are looking for a man who robbed a BB&T Bank Friday morning.

Police say they'll be able to catch the suspect because he left a very a big clue behind, a great photo on camera.

Police said it may have been a brazen robbery, but not the brightest suspect.

"We have been looking for the suspect ever since and we are now collecting evidence inside that we hope will lead us to be able to capture the individual that perpetrated this crime," said Charleston Police Chief of Detectives Lt. Steve Cooper.

The suspect gave the teller a note saying he had a gun, and he was willing to use it.

No one was injured, police said.

WOMAN USES KNIFE IN PUTNAM HOLD-UP - Police are searching for a woman who robbed a Hurricane gas station at knifepoint.

The woman entered a BP gas station, brandished a knife, demanded money and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police said the robber had parts of her face painted blue, wore sunglasses and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

PARKERSBURG ROBBERY - The Parkersburg Police Department indicated it took nerve to knock over a place where there's normally lots of people playing the lottery, or picking up their favorite magazine and snacks.

Police responded at 3:30 Friday afternoon to an armed robbery at Peoples News.

Reports say the robber came through an unlocked back door, with two male employees working.

The suspect assaulted one employee behind the counter, who was treated for minor injuries on scene.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to witness testimony, the robber was carrying a silver handgun.
