ROBERT LEE BOGGS - Minnora

Robert Lee Boggs, 61, of Minnora, Calhoun County, WV, died August 3 in Roane General Hospital, Spencer following an extended illness.

Born at Tariff, Roane County, a son of the late Kenna and Gertie Conley Boggs. He was a Christian and attended the Milo Community Church. He was a retired rig superintendent for thirty-five years and was a farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jaunita Helmick Boggs; three sons, Kenna R. Boggs of Spencer, WV, Mark Boggs and Robert L. Boggs, II both of Minnora; daughter, Patricia Boggs Lunceford of Flatwoods, WV; four brothers, Kenna Junior Boggs of Linden, WV, Rondel Field of Wakemon, Ohio, Jack Boggs and Noble Boggs both of Orrville, Ohio; two sisters, Georgia Bateman of Worcher, Ohio and Linie Faye Simmons of Summersville, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Kayla, Stephanie, Brittany, Coy, Amber and Heather Boggs.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Allen Boggs; a granddaughter, Mary ellen Boggs; two sisters, Arlene Tanner and Reta Jarvis; three brothers, Charles, Ronzel and Cal Boggs in addition to his parents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Stump Funeral home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Reverend John Meadows will officiate. Interment will be in the Orma United Methodist Church Cemetery, at Orma, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
