EAST END CHARLESTON STABBING - Two people have been taken to the hospital after a domestic violence episode on Charleston's East Side Police say the man has been stabbed four times and a woman was also injured.

No other details available Thursday night.

WOMAN STABS MAN IN BACK - Charleston police arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend in the back with a large kitchen knife.

Nynita Carter, 26, has been charged with malicious wounding after she allegedly stabbed Jeffrey Fields during an argument over her drinking.

Carter was taken to the South Central Regional Jail.

WOMAN ROBS STATION WITH KNIFE - Putnam County sheriff's deputies are searching for a woman who robbed the Par Mar/BP gas station in Hurricane at knifepoint.

The woman entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money, according to a news release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

The woman fled on foot from the side of the gas station with an undisclosed amount of money.

OWNER HOLDS BURGLAR AT GUNPOINT - Police said a burglar in Huntington received a surprise when the homeowner caught him in the act of burglarizing and then held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

John Allen Bryan, 37, of Huntington was charged with burglary.

The victim told police he came home to find the front door of his home wide open and the suspect going through his things, according to the complaint. The homeowner reportedly recovered nearly all of his belongings.
