SGT. NICHOLS RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER STRUCK BY CAR NEW YEARS DAY

A WV state trooper critically injured after being hit by a car on New Year's Eve is out of the hospital Tuesday and recovering at home. Sergeant Aaron Nichols, a former detachment commander in Wirt County, was struck by a woman driver at a shopping mall after allegedly shoplifting to support her drug addiction.
