FLU OUTBREAK WORST IN 10 YEARS - WV Deaths Reported

(01/18/2013)
The Centers for Disease Control said flu season is widespread in 46 states including West Virginia.

Several deaths have been confirmed in the Mountain State from the elderly to infants.

The CDC said the flu outbreak is one of the worst in a decade.

While 1,400 cases have been confirmed in WV, most respiratory cases are not tested for flu.

Hospitals in the state are reaching maximum admissions, and doctor offices and clinics have been crowded with respiratory problems.
