CALHOUN WOMAN ARRESTED FOR PROBATION VIOLATION

A Calhoun woman has been arrested and incarcerated in Centeral Regional jail, after being picked-up by the State Police and Calhoun Sheriff's Department.

Samantha Brooke Starcher, 22, of Arnoldsburg, had been placed on three years probation by Judge David W. Nibert in Roane Circuit Court, following drug related charges.

She has now been charged with the violation of her probation agreement.

Starcher was arrested in Spencer with two other individuals following a traffic stop in June, 2011, with officers finding Fentanyl patches, 30 prescription pills and marijuana.

Bail has been set at $8,000 on another Calhoun capias warrant, and $2,500 bail for a Roane County charge.
