Beulah Lee Karickhoff Rhodes, 88, of Emeritus at Marietta

Beulah Lee Karickhoff Rhodes, 88, of Emeritus at Marietta, formerly of Williamstown, died January 4, 2013 at Harmar Place Rehabilitation Center in Marietta.

She was born on October 17, 1924 in Spencer, WV a daughter of the late Harold and Maggie Karickhoff. She and her husband, Charles were faithful church workers for many years. She coordinated social activities at the Church of the Open Door in Elyria, Ohio. They were church Sunday School Superintendents of the 30-40 class. They were also members of First Baptist Church in Elyria.

In 1978 they moved Lakeland, Florida where they were active members of Calvary Baptist Church. In 2000 they moved to Williamstown where they joined Faith Bible Church. Beulah was a Greeter and very active with the Senior Ministry. She had many interests including gardening, art, and flower arranging, cooking, and helping others.

On June 21, 1946 she married Charles H. Rhodes who preceded her in death in 2003. They had been married for 57 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Howard) Price, Grandson, Eric Price, nephews Mike (Carol Lee) Roberts and Steven Roberts, niece Barbara Rhoads, several cousins and several great nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her adopted family Rob, Rhonda, Tori and Jordan Galyean. Beulah was a special friend to many.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 8th at 3:00 p.m. at Slate Cemetery in Spencer, WV.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9th at Faith Bible Church in Williamstown with Pastor Steve DeLay officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Strecker Cancer Center, 401 Matthew Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
