Farris Gene Jett, 64, of Amma, West Virginia died December 30, 2012 at his home. He was born January 17, 1948 in Roane County, West Virginia a son of Georgie Runnion Jett of Clendenin, West Virginia and the late Richard Jett. He worked as a brick and block mason. He is survived by one daughter, Ammy Crookshanks of Concord, North Carolina; two sons, Kevin and Farron Jett, both of Amma; two sisters, Marvine McQuillen of Clendenin and Rhonda McGlothlin of Poca, West Virginia; three brothers, Richard Timothy Jett of Amma, and Delmas and Sam Jett, both of Oak Island, North Carolina; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia. There will be no service.
