Earl F. "Jack" Bunner, 82 - Left Hand

Earl F. "Jack" Bunner, 82, of Left Hand WV, died December 29, 2012, in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

He was born July 13, 1930 in Royal Oak, MI, a son of the late Earl Francis and Ethel Ferrell Bunner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Harry C. "Rusty" Rose, Jr.

Mr. Bunner was a retired U.S.A.F. veteran. He was a former employee of the Spencer State Hospital, Starcher Motors, Inc., and NAPA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21, Spencer. Also, he was a former member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 10 both in Manistee, MI. He enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannette W. Bunner of Left Hand; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Joe Parrish, Deborah and Eddie Nelson all of Louisville, KY; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Clara Bunner of Tell City, IN, Gerry and Lori Bunner of Spencer, Kenneth and Nama Bunner also of Spencer, Donald and Gladys Bunner of Elkview; stepdaughters, Sandra Wood of Looneyville and Gail Rose of Maine; stepsons, Robert Rose of New York and Pete Rose of Pittsburgh, PA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Mike Bunner of West Branch, MI; sisters, Rebecca Lee of West Branch, MI and Gloria DePasquale of Martins Ferry, OH.

A funeral service will be held January 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Randy Whited officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be held January 4 at 1:45 p.m. in the Donel E. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 pm Thursday.
