| Marshall O. Drake, 72, of Kimbolton OH, died December 29, 2012, in the Southeast Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge, OH, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born February 16, 1940, at Mud Fork WV, a son of the late Otha Orrin and Opal Maysel May Drake. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Duane Junior Drake; a daughter, Tammy Leach; two grandchildren; brother, Raymond Drake; sisters, Paulene McCourt and Ruth Drake.
Marshall was a retired employee of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, Akron, with 32 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and most of all, his family.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte "Sammy" Drake; a daughter, Karla Sue Hibbard of Cambridge OH; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jackey Drake of Big Otter WV, Forrest and Darlene Drake of Maysel WV, Charles Robert and Mary King of Chloe WV; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cleo and George Adelman of Rootstown OH, Imogene and Ed Blacklock of Pie Town NM, Crickette (Careen) and Don Traxler of Richwood OH; four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held January 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Coen Cemetery, Nebo. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
