OHIO RAISES MINIMUM WAGE TO $7.85

The minimum wage in Ohio will increase to $7.85 an hour on New Year's Day. The largest employer in Ohio is fast food. The current federal minimum wage is $7.25, the rate in WV. The last increase in West Virginia occurred in 2008, when the minimum went from $6.55 to $7.25. The largest employer in West Virginia is WalMart.
