| Jarret Ellis Kee, 83, of Dunbar, West Virginia, passed away on December 19, 2012 at the Hubbard Hospice House at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, West Virginia.
He was born June 24, 1929 in Harmony, West Virginia, a son of the late Phillip Fritz and Zona Ellen Ellis Kee. He was a longtime employee of General Motors in Detroit, Michigan, later worked at Norris Industries and Monarch Rubber in Spencer, and was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Garnet Rhodes Kee; a daughter, Karen Roberts of South Point, Ohio; a step-daughter, Sally Hively of Dunbar; two sisters, Virginia Lea Knopp of Spencer and Mary Adele Raines of Warrenton, Virginia; a brother, James Esten Kee of Harmony; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Kee; a sister, Othella Fields; and two brothers, Joe and Harry Kee.
Services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia, with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Spencer. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
