Martha Gay Cooper, 48, of Macfarlan

Martha Gay Cooper, 48, of Macfarlan, died November 12, 2012 at Camden Clark Memorial Campus, Parkersburg.

She was born Sept. 14, 1964 in Parkersburg, WV the daughter of Robert James and Missouri Alice Smith Hardbarger of Macfarlan.

Martha was an office assistant at Alfab, Smithville and had worked for 20 years at Cornerstone Bank, West Union. She helped with Smithville X-llers 4-H and was a friend to everyone and loved her family very much.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Steven Paul Cooper; sons, Adam Paul Cooper and Daniel Paul Cooper, both of Macfarlan; brothers, Robert James Hardbarger, Jr., of Parkersburg, Jackie Lee Hardbarger of Macfarlan, Michael Paul Hardbarger of Mahone, and Joseph Lawrence Hardbarger of Big Springs; sisters, Patricia Nancy Bixman of Macfarlan, and Ottie May Deem of Oil Ridge; father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Shirley Cooper of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Lawrence and Martha Hardbarger, and George and Ottie Smith.

Funeral services will be held November 16, 2012 at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Pastor Dan Stevens officiating. Burial in the K of P Cemetery, Elizabeth.
