Police believe Sheets stabbed Dakota Heart several times Tuesday night during a fight on Virgil Road.

Sheets (pictured left) turned himself into authorities, and has been charged with malicious wounding. He is in Central Regional Jail on $100,000 bond.

Heart underwent surgery at CAMC and is listed in stable condition.

Virgil Road is in the Cottontree-Walton area of the county off US 119, not far from the Kanawha County line.
