UPDATE: CAR PLUNGES INTO HEAVY WOODS ON BEECH ROAD - Police Take Man Into Custody

Wrecked vehicle came to rest in heavy woods after plunging over a steep hillside A driver in what was reported to be an SUV downed about thirty feet of metal guardrail on Beech Rd. Saturday night just before midnight, the vehicle plunging over a steep hillside into the woods, turning over. Mathew Thomas Clarkson, 33, was not injured. The State Police arrested Clarkson for DUI and took him to Central Regional Jail. The accident happened on a narrow, winding road on Liberty Hill, just off US 33-119. Calhoun EMS and the Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the accident.
