WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Nightmarish Crimes

KANAWHA ABDUCTION - A nightmarish crime developed in a Kanawha County hollow with a woman being abducted at knifepoint on Witcher Creek Road and forced into a truck.

State Police say, "She was significantly injured with head injuries as well as significant bruising to her back as well as knife wounds to her facial areas and hands and neck."

Police say 44-year old Joey Jeffrey and his girlfriend 37-year old Cindy Creathers then drove the victim up into remote area, at which time she was beaten and left in the mud.

A person witnessed the abduction and called police. Troopers were able to track the two alleged criminals down at a Knights Inn motel room in Kanawha City where they were arrested and charged with malicious wounding and kidnapping.

Police are saying the crime was related to drugs or robbery.

The victim is recovering from serious injuries at the hospital.

KIDNAPS PROSTITUTE - A Whitesville man is behind bars accused of kidnapping a prostitute and holding her at gunpoint in Kanawha County.

32-year-old Jeremy Peters picked up a woman on MacCorkle Avenue in South Charleston and agreed to take her back to her home in Charleston, according to a criminal complaint.

Once inside the truck, the woman allegedly told Peters she would have sex with him for $250, says the complaint.

Peters then told her they would go to a hotel, but the woman said she wanted to go to her house.

The complaint says then Peters pulled out a gun, locked his truck doors and then told the woman they were going to a hotel.

Police say the victim was able to get the gun from Peters and jumped out of the moving vehicle.

She was taken to CAMC with unknown injuries.

Peters is charged with kidnapping and wanton endangerment.
