CHS FESTIVE CHRISTMAS GALA TONIGHT - Events Starts At 6

(12/14/2012)
Christmas music will flow from a Calhoun High School special public presentation tonight, according to music director Eileen Marsh.

The Third Annual CHS Fine Arts Christmas Gala starts at 6 pm in the school auditorium, with a $5 admission.

This year's festive event will open with the CHS Band under the direction of Jay McHenry , performing four numbers, two of which were arranged by McHenry himself.

The CHS choir will take the stage, featuring the 2012-2013 Vandalia Singers and the 2012-2013 Showgirls and VIP's.

"We have a fantastic depth of singers this year, so vocally we can do a lot more," says director Marsh.

"I'm finally getting some seasoned pros in the group and even some Freshmen and Sophomores who can sing anything I want them to," she said.

A new addition to this year's Christmas program is the 2013 Red Devil Revue Emcee, Marshall Grogg.

"Marshall has been participating in theatre and has been a manager for the marching band over the past two years, so adding him early seemed like a fantastic plan," said Marsh.

If you want a festive evening of fantastic holiday music, then make sure to get your seat at the CHS Fine Arts Christmas Gala.

All proceeds go to CHS Fine Arts.
