By Angie Hersman Calhoun Middle School Girls Basketball teams traveled to Ritchie Friday night with both A and B Teams sweeping Ritchie. CMS A Team beat Ritchie 37-23 - A Team Record 2-0 A Team Scorers: Makayla Smith 12-2-5-26 points; Tori Allen 2-1-6-5 points; Ashley Hersman 0-2-3-2 points; Leah McCumbers 1-0-3-2 points; Alisha Fulks 0-1-2-1 point; Callie Cooper 0-1-5-1 point B Team beat Ritchie 19-10 - B Team Record 1-0 B Team Scorers: Katie Jones 7-0-5-14 points; Kaylea Bennett 2-1-4-5 points Played but did not score: Whitney Stevens, Kinley Hosey, Carissa Yoak, Amber Garrett, Alexis Little, Erica Heiney, Aaliyah Falls, and Josie Manns.
