Gilmer County authorities are investigating the source of a bomb threat written on a rest room mirror at Gilmer County High School.

Police and responders arrived at the school shortly after noon Friday after a bomb threat message was reported by a student.

Details of the incident have not been available, although the school was evacuated and students walked to the Glenville State College campus.

Glenville streets were blocked while students were relocated to the college.

State Police and school staff scoured the building prior to drug sniffing dogs arriving.

Reports indicate the building was cleared by 4 p.m.
