CMS GIRLS BASKETBALL BEGIN SEASON WITH WIN

By Angie Hersman Calhoun Middle School Girls Basketball team opened their season at home against Geary with a A Team game only. CMS A team defeated Geary 40-9 to start the season 1-0. CMS will travel to Ritchie on Friday evening with B team playing at 6pm and A team playing at 7pm. CMS A Team Scorers: Makayla Smith 11-0-0-22 points, Tori Allen 3-0-4-6 points, Ashley Hersman 1-0-0-2 points, Hannah Allen 1-0-0-2 points, Callie Cooper 2-0-0-4 points, Katie Jones 2-0-04 point Played but did not score: Leah McCumbers, Alisha Fulks, Kaylea Bennett, Whitney Stevens and Kinley Hosey.
