FORMER ROANE-CALHOUN EMT CHARGED WITH DRUG THEFT AGAIN

(11/23/2012)
A Former Roane-Calhoun EMT, Steven Mullins, 27, of Reedy, is facing another drug theft problem.

Mullins, according to a criminal complaint filed by the WV State Police, is charged with taking drugs from a neighbors house, he is charged with daytime burglary and petit larceny.

The complaint says that Robert Bauer of Reedy noticed pain killers used by his wife missing.

After doing a 17 pill count, Bauer noticed six missing after Mullins left his house.

Mullins was arrested last December for stealing drugs from ambulances in Roane and Calhoun County, but he has yet to be indicted on those charges. His EMT license was suspended.

Mullins has reportedly engaged in treatment for an addiction problem.

He is currently on the Reedy Town Council.
