Delores Truman Siers, 69 - Mineral Wells

Delores Truman Siers, 69, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on Nov. 13, 2012, at her residence.

She was born July 7, 1943, in Roane County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lawrence and Oma Deweese Truman.

Delores was a graduate of Spencer High School with the class of 1961. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time flower gardening. She also enjoyed cross-stitching and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and her kids were her greatest joy. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David E. Siers; one daughter, Sheila (Roger) Lemon of Parkersburg; one son, Michael (Julie) Siers of Parkersburg; three sisters, Nellie Butler of Ohio, Gladys McQuain of Left Hand, W.Va. and Oeta Miller of Spencer, W.Va.; three brothers, Sonny Truman of Spencer, Harry Truman of Left Hand, W.Va., and James Truman of Amma, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Rachel (Ryan) Greene; three great-grandchildren, Reese, Rowan and Megan Greene; and three step-great-grandchildren, Patricia, Zackary and Robert McDonald.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Kevin Lantz officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
