DRUG STORE ROBBERY - Deputies say a man armed with a gun went into the Buffalo Drug Store in Putnam County and was able to get away with a large amount of prescription pills called Opana.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

HUNTINGTON ARMED INVASION - An armed home invasion in Huntington has police in pursuit of three men, aafter a terrified homeowner say the men barged into her residence with firearms.

Officers say the suspects, armed with guns, broke in the back door of the home. Police believe they were looking for money and drugs.

When they didn't find any, the men took off.

K-9 units were called to the scene.

PUTNAM HOME INVASION - A man is facing charges after he tried to break in a home in Putnam County and then led police on a chase.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department says James Galloway, 34, of Lima, Ohio, broke into a house on Teays Farms in Teays Valley.

He was confronted by the homeowner who fired several rounds at him, he then took off. jumped into a vehicle and dropped it at a 7-eleven along Scary Creek.

That's when he stole another vehicle and headed east, according to police. A West Virginia State Trooper spotted the vehicle along I-64 and chased him near Laidley Field.

Galloway stopped and jumped out of the vehicle and took off running. Police were able to catch up with him and take him into custody.

No one was hurt.

TEEN SHOT IN CHARLESTON - Police are trying to track down a man they say shot a teenager.

Charleston police are looking for Daniel "P.J." Lymon.

Lymon is wanted for the attempted murder of 19-year-old Rashad Goines.

Police say Lymon lured Goines to an area on Buchanan Street about 4 p.m. Thursday and shot him in the leg.

Goines took himself to the hospital and is expected to recover.

FATAL SHOOTING IN PRINCETON - Charges have yet to be filed after authorities say an intense and emotional argument in Princeton between two men over family issues led to a fatal shooting.

Officials with the Princeton Police Department said 30-year-old Eddie Harmon, shot and killed 34-year-old Michael Cardwell.

Police would not comment on the family issues that were affecting the two males, but said the men's parents had a relationship. Officials say self-defense could be a possibility, but the investigation is ongoing.
